- Re Blockwork - This year's under
12 age group will be eligible to perform en-point block work from
September this year.
- Figure Dancing at world championships
Teachers may now REDANCE 50% of dancers in a higher age group
and dancers are permitted to dance a figure dance 3 times.
No music will be allowed during the story and the music must stop
at the end of the dance. Music may restart from bow and walk off.
The timing of the dance will be from commencement of introduction
to the end of dance.
Slip jig music will not be allowed.
- Over 21 year girls will dance
Reel and hornpipe at the All Ireland and slip jig and jig at the
World Championships
- Recalls and prizes will be awarded
at the All Ireland and World Championships according to the number
of entries in the programme and not the number of dancers actually
competing on that day.
- All Ireland dates 3rd Feb - 11
Feb Inc World dates 1st April - 8 April inc.
- Forms will be sent out soon to
all adjudicators who wish to be considered to adjudicate.

As from
23 October 2005 tanning on legs is allowed for ALL GRADES AND ALL
AGE GROUPS. No face make-up allowed for Novice and Primary grades
up to and including Under 12 agegroup.
